The next product is a body butter with Lanolin wax and Vitamin E. It is a 50 ml tub worth Rs. 399. It is cruelty and paraben free product. It seems sticky but gets absorbed into skin well. It will work well for dry season. It has a very soothing fragrance and leaves the skin soft.

Veda Essence Avocado Peppermint Tea Tree Vit-E Soap

This is face and body soap which is chemical, paraben lead , cruelty and SLS free. I have not heard of this brand before but I am definitely going to try this soap. I love natural products and this one seems promising with Avocado, Tea tree, peppermint oils and Vit E. It helps make skin soft ans supple and also soothes dry and itchy skin. It is a 125gm bar worth Rs. 210

Banjaras Pure Herb Hibiscus Powder

This is the product I loved so much. I have tried it once and it worked so well for me. It is Banjaras Hair care Hibiscus Powder. I have tried a face cream from this brand which was ok. This is a 100gm pack which contains 5 sachets of 20 gm each. It left my hair super soft and silky. Though I have not seen a reduction in hair fall which cannot be expected from a single use. I will use this regularly and see if it actually solves my hairfall problem. This is worth Rs. 90

Banjaras Multani Orange Face Wash

I liked this face wash also, after a single use itself I could notice a difference in my skin. It is gel based and contains tiny orange peel grits, which work well as exfoliant. It is 100ml tube worth Rs. 40.

OGX Niacin & Caffeine Shampoo & Conditioner

IMG_0994

These are one time use shampoo and conditioner sachets which were not enough at all. I oil my hair before washing and 7.4ml of shampoo was actually not quite enough. The conditioner had a minty fragrance. It reminded me of Pudin Hara 😛 I did not like this product.

Overall the bag and its contents were good. It had a good combination of hair, face and body care. I got to try some really good products and might also buy some.

The Nature’s Co Mini Express Facial Kit

Hi there,

Today I am going to share a review of The Nature’s Co Mini Express Facial Kit. As the name suggests this is a mini version of their Express Facial Kit. I have tried quite a few products from this brand and wanted to try the facial kit. I prefer doing facials at home instead of going to salons, so thought why not try it.

The kit contains of 5 products: White pepper cleansing lotion, Multi Vitamin Massage Cream, Corn Exfoliating Face Pack, Rose Hydrating Mist, Vanilla Vitamin E Face Cream.

1. White pepper cleansing lotion

Quantity: 10 ml

It is a thin white runny lotion which has a peppery smell to it. It can be used to remove dirt, grim and even eye and face makeup. I pumped a small amount on my fingertips and applied over my face and neck in soft circular motions and wiped it off with wet cotton ball. It does its job well and leaves the face clean. White pepper is anti-oxidants, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory and works well in removing germs and bacteria from the skin.

Ingredients:  White Pepper Extract, Coconut Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Lotion Base, Aroma, Q.S.

2. Multi Vitamin Massage Cream

Quantity: 35ml

This facial massage cream consists of Vitamin A, C and E. It helps remove the dead skin and keeps the skin soft. A small amount goes a long way. After massaging for 5 minutes it gets greasy and starts to collect in small sticky lumps. I don’t mind it as long it removes the dead skin and leaves the skin soft and shiny, which it does. After massaging I wipe it off with wet cotton swab.

Multi-Vitamin Facial Massage Cream

Ingredients: Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Wheatgerm Oil, Cocoa Butter, Kokum Butter, Vitamin A,E & C, Cream base, Aroma, Natural Preservatives, Q.S.

3. Corn Exfoliating Face Pack

Quantity: 35ml

This is the best product of the kit. I just loved it. It looks like any other face scrub/pack (it is actually 2-in-1 product). It contains of corn grits which remove white/blackheads easily and leaves the skin smooth and soft. My post pregnancy skin has become too sensitive and full of white and blackheads, due to months of negligence. None of my usual scrubs was able to give me a clean skin. But this scrub worked like a charm. It is thick and after applying on the skin it dries quickly so I mix it with rose water/toner or just spray rose after applying the pack. Leave it for 10 minutes and then spray rose water again and gently scrub in circular motion. Rinse it off with cold water. I saw significant difference and my skin felt smooth.

Corn Exfoliating Face Pack

Tip: For excessive blackheads after scrub I use steam to soften the blackheads and open the pore. Then I use blackhead remover to extract the remaining ones. I would suggest this step to all those who have open- pore skin and find it difficult to clean those tiny pores.

4.  Rose Hydrating Mist

Quantity: 10 ml

This is Rose water which comes in a small spray bottle and I find it very convenient. It can be used to dilute the face pack or as toner after the face pack.

Tip: After the pores are clean you need to close them for good. Rub an ice cube all over the face to close the pores so that they don’t get filled up with dirt easily.

5. Vanilla Vitamin E Face Cream

Quantity: 15ml

Lastly apply some face cream. This smells of vanilla which I am not very fond of. This is a bit greasy for my liking but gets absorbed in the skin well. As my skin is oily I apply a very small amount of it and gently massage it so that it gets absorbed. This will work well on dry skin.

Vanilla-Vitamin E Face Cream

Ingredients: Vanilla Oil, Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Wheatgerm Oil, Cocoa Butter, Kokum Butter, Vitamin E, Cream base, Aroma, Natural Preservatives, Q.S.

Pros:

  1. Removes dead skin and black/whiteheads easily
  2. Leaves the skin soft and smooth
  3. Travel-friendly, reusable packaging

Cons:

  1. It is a bit greasy
