Today I am going to share a review of The Nature’s Co Mini Express Facial Kit. As the name suggests this is a mini version of their Express Facial Kit. I have tried quite a few products from this brand and wanted to try the facial kit. I prefer doing facials at home instead of going to salons, so thought why not try it.
The kit contains of 5 products: White pepper cleansing lotion, Multi Vitamin Massage Cream, Corn Exfoliating Face Pack, Rose Hydrating Mist, Vanilla Vitamin E Face Cream.
1. White pepper cleansing lotion
Quantity: 10 ml
It is a thin white runny lotion which has a peppery smell to it. It can be used to remove dirt, grim and even eye and face makeup. I pumped a small amount on my fingertips and applied over my face and neck in soft circular motions and wiped it off with wet cotton ball. It does its job well and leaves the face clean. White pepper is anti-oxidants, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory and works well in removing germs and bacteria from the skin.
Ingredients: White Pepper Extract, Coconut Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Lotion Base, Aroma, Q.S.
2. Multi Vitamin Massage Cream
This facial massage cream consists of Vitamin A, C and E. It helps remove the dead skin and keeps the skin soft. A small amount goes a long way. After massaging for 5 minutes it gets greasy and starts to collect in small sticky lumps. I don’t mind it as long it removes the dead skin and leaves the skin soft and shiny, which it does. After massaging I wipe it off with wet cotton swab.
Ingredients: Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Wheatgerm Oil, Cocoa Butter, Kokum Butter, Vitamin A,E & C, Cream base, Aroma, Natural Preservatives, Q.S.
3. Corn Exfoliating Face Pack
This is the best product of the kit. I just loved it. It looks like any other face scrub/pack (it is actually 2-in-1 product). It contains of corn grits which remove white/blackheads easily and leaves the skin smooth and soft. My post pregnancy skin has become too sensitive and full of white and blackheads, due to months of negligence. None of my usual scrubs was able to give me a clean skin. But this scrub worked like a charm. It is thick and after applying on the skin it dries quickly so I mix it with rose water/toner or just spray rose after applying the pack. Leave it for 10 minutes and then spray rose water again and gently scrub in circular motion. Rinse it off with cold water. I saw significant difference and my skin felt smooth.
Tip: For excessive blackheads after scrub I use steam to soften the blackheads and open the pore. Then I use blackhead remover to extract the remaining ones. I would suggest this step to all those who have open- pore skin and find it difficult to clean those tiny pores.
Ingredients: Corn grits, Corn Powder, Vegetable Glycerin, Pro-Vitamin B5, Clay Base, Aroma and Natural Preservatives Q.S.
4. Rose Hydrating Mist
Quantity: 10 ml
This is Rose water which comes in a small spray bottle and I find it very convenient. It can be used to dilute the face pack or as toner after the face pack.
Tip: After the pores are clean you need to close them for good. Rub an ice cube all over the face to close the pores so that they don’t get filled up with dirt easily.
5. Vanilla Vitamin E Face Cream
Lastly apply some face cream. This smells of vanilla which I am not very fond of. This is a bit greasy for my liking but gets absorbed in the skin well. As my skin is oily I apply a very small amount of it and gently massage it so that it gets absorbed. This will work well on dry skin.
Ingredients: Vanilla Oil, Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Wheatgerm Oil, Cocoa Butter, Kokum Butter, Vitamin E, Cream base, Aroma, Natural Preservatives, Q.S.
- Removes dead skin and black/whiteheads easily
- Leaves the skin soft and smooth

- It is a bit greasy
